Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive & Spa, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

All Inclusive with close proximity to the airport... We came here during Victoria long week in May and loved every bit of it here

.

With regard to the rooms - they were very clean, were of ample size with flat screen televisions, bathrooms are relatively updated and we never had plumbing issues with faucets or shower heads that many resorts have.

The fridge inside the room was always stocked with water, beer, and sodas. All the rooms are ocean view. We were on the fifth floor and the view was nice and beautiful.

With regard to the food -  Breakfast was good and was offered until nearly noon time. Lots of fruit and an omelet bar were available.

A Burger Bar (burgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, fries, nachos and a self-serve cooler with various drinks) and separate "Ceviche" (seafood) area were available throughout the day should you need to help yourself to snacks around the pool.

We normally used the main Italian for dinner but also tried the Mexican and Asian restaurants.

With regard to bar service and drinks - The service and drinks we received were by far what made our trip.

Befriend your service staff travelers; it's these people who will make your trip. Know their name and let them know yours, it makes all the difference.

I should also note that the lobby bar in the resort has been completely remodeled. It seems to have become much more lively in the evenings.

With regard to the resort grounds -  The Fiesta Americana is an older resort as almost all are in the hotel zone within this section of Puerto Vallarta. The resort has been very well kept and I'm sure many updates have been done over the years as it looks fairly current.

The beach seating area is huge and completely segregated from the vendors so you won't be bothered if you don't want to be. The beach in front of the resort is likely one of the best in the row of hotels but the beaches in Puerto Vallarta aren't likely what brings people to the area. The gym/fitness area is actually really good compared to most resorts I've seen. It is small but very modern and has just about everything you would need including free weights, several machines, and about five pieces of cardio equipment.

This resort is definitely worth visiting :)
