Sunscape Akumal Beach Resort & Spa
What a great resort under AMR management. We were located in the oceanfront room. Very spacious. Your mini fridge is supplied with pop, beer and water, the only thing that gets refilled is bottle water every day. The beach is beautiful it's a combination of sand and coral which allows for an assortment of fish to be around. There were a few stingrays that we got to enjoy. Near the family pool, be prepared to see the peacocks, iguana, agouti and the white-nosed coati they bring a sense of being local even thou you're on the resort. We used the kids club and there were many children in there having fun they even escort them to the buffet to have dinner so parents truly have respite. There is so much entertainment during the day in a different location, from yoga to a movie on the beach, to water polo, to bingo, to kayak tours and many more.
