Ventus at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort Cancún Riviera Maya

The hotel is brand new and beautiful. There are a lot of people working here to make your stay special. What was disappointing is that Wi-Fi is not free. You will have to buy if you want to use it.

There are a ton of bars and pools everywhere and there is a great spa and gym. There are several eateries and a lot of food at the food market, El Mercado, six stands of different foods, which was awesome.

Also, dinner reservations are required; if you fail to make a reservation, your only option is the one food market that serves the same things daily.

The grounds are immaculate, they are always cleaning. There is nightly entertainment. The pools were bit cold. The kids club seemed like they were always doing something fun.

The original hotel (Marina) was much more fun during the day, there was always music and something going on at their pool, while the Ventus seems to cater to a more sophisticated, older crowd.
